Welcome to The World of Draeldea

Everything Melon Knows about Draeldea

There's a lot to cover so good luck :3

Creator’s Note:
I, Melon, have decided that I need a way for me to organize my thoughts without having to rant to my friends about random garbage that has to do with my silly little made-up world. I thought it would be so much easier to organize my ideas if I, well, organized my ideas. I doubt this will be easy, but it will hopefully make planning my books, or maybe even shows, a lot easier. I also understand that some people I exPlane my characters to don't fully get who the character is. I figured I could benefit those people by politely organizing everything I know about everything I have created or thought about. It will also be easier to change information as I continue throughout the encyclopedia.
I know that single-handedly creating an entire encyclopedia about a fictional world I created isn't very productive to most people, but I feel that if it were not done I would never be able to communicate my thoughts properly. I'm sure many people don't feel like reading a book about books but I will at least learn who is as passionate as I am about my work. I will probably make fun of everyone who chooses not to read this encyclopedia if they are personally asked by me. I also think it would be funny if people ask me about my ideas and I hand them an entire book or a hundred-page file.
This encyclopedia, as I said, will tell everything I know about the worlds and characters I have created. It will explain how these Planes of existence interact with each other and how they are organized. I will explain the government's laws and the laws of nature that the world lives by. I will explain the relationships between the characters and how they feel toward each other. I will explain their backstories and other important details about them. Hopefully, anyone who reads this text all the way through will learn all they need to know about the worlds I have created. But of course, we must introduce the most important details first.

Melon, the Creator of Existence
It should come as no surprise that the creator of the concept of these worlds would call themself "the creator of experience" in the context of these stories. It may be a bit egotistical to allegedly call yourself god but seeing as how Melon is the god of a fictional world it is a lot less impressive. Melon created all that exists in this book including the text itself. Melon chose to give the empty world they lived in a whole new spark. They created multiple worlds just for their entertainment. They dictate all that takes place in these worlds. They choose the decisions of everyone in these worlds. Though to many her ability to create is trivial but it does make you wonder. What have you done to create an entire world just for yourself? Have you ever felt bored enough to create your own show to watch mentally any moment of any day?
Being a god isn't easy no matter if it is fictional. You must make the decisions of the very celestials that are meant to assist in managing these worlds. It seems that most of the people who live in these worlds find Melon to be a concept rather than a very real truth. Of course, that is completely Melon's decision. They fear that if the people all believed in their existence, they would either be worshiped or hated by all. Not only did she gift all beings with life but she also chose to make every tragedy and hardship they have had to go through.
Melon is not a "pure" god. They don't make decisions for the good of their world, they make them for the sake of their entertainment. They create their own conflict so they can find enjoyment in their suffering. While many would find this sickening, they don't have much of a choice. To create everything is to create all suffering. Without morality, in the first place, there cannot be the absence of morality. Melon is simply doing her job as a creator. While that seems like a lousy excuse, there is no better one. Melon's actions will be exPlaneed more when the events that take place in these worlds are exPlaneed, but that just might make you hate her more.

Draeldea and the Planes of Existence
Draeldea is the broadest name for the entirety of existence that Melon has created. Draeldea is made up of four main connected Planes and many disconnected ones that will never see the light of day. The four main Planes: the Celestial Plane, the Mortal Plane, the Spiritual Plane, and the partially disconnected Mythical Plane are all connected, though not physically. It is possible that with a large amount of force, one could travel between them, but most aren't even aware of their connection. Most beings are aware of the Mortal Plane's connection to the Spiritual Plane but other than those two most beings don't bother thinking about such things. The beings of the Mortal Plane believe that you go to the Spiritual Plane after death but they tend to disagree about the existence of the other Planes.
All of the creatures of Draeldea are not completely human. They all have attributes from other species. Most inherent little bits and pieces of their physiology like ears, wings, and tails, but some inherit more like fur or scales. That mostly occurs in the Celestial Plane and the Mythical Plane. The creatures in those Planes are less stable due to their unexplainable abilities. That being said, all the Planes are very different even though they are all connected.
It feels accurate to think of the Planes as some sort of layered cake. Each layer has a different flavor and part to play in the cake and they're all stacked one on top of the other. To consume the rest of the cake you must first eat the top layer.

The Celestial Plane
The most powerful and vital of the Planes is the Celestial Plane. It is home to the Celestials, beings who govern the natural order of the Mortal Plane. Because the Celestial Plane is directly above the Mortal Plane the Celestials can more easily control it. Each Celestial plays a vital role in the lives of all beings and each has a different role. More will be said after the rest of the Planes are explained.
The Celestial Plane isn’t as advanced as some of the other Planes but that is because it doesn't need to be. None of the Celestials feel the need to improve their quality of life. They all just want to play their role and not much else, they just want to keep the mortals organized and make sure nothing goes wrong. There are few things that the Celestials care for as much as the Mortals. Some of them have hobbies and do things to help them relax, but they don't seem to need such things as technology.

The Mortal Plane
While it appears to be the weakest Plane it is also the most advanced technologically. The mortals are most benefited by the Celestials and have grown to be very intelligent. The Mortal Plane is the most simple of all the Planes. It's closest to the reality we know but that doesn't say much. The civilization the mortals have created is not only highly dependent on technology but is very much united with plant life. They have created architecture that can support mammals and plants alike, though there are still buildings that are not made for plant life.
The Mortal Plane has no magical beings in it but there are a few exceptions. The Mortal Plane is infinite and there is no end to the world. It is an infinite landmass except for the occasional oceans and lakes. Due to its infinite nature, there are many theories about what possibilities an infinite Planet can hold. You could find anything if you searched far enough, but most people don't have that kind of unwavering determination.

The Spiritual Plane
The Spiritual Plane is no different from the Mortal Plane except all the beings that live in it are souls rather than living creatures. Many spirits are under the impression that they are still alive but in truth, they are not physical beings though they appear to be. The Spiritual Plane is filled with the souls of people who died in the Mortal Plane and were found worthy of continuing into the afterlife. Melon decides who gets to continue to “live” and they tend to choose based on how morally correct they were in their past life, but occasionally they make exceptions to keep things interesting.

The Mythical Plane
The Mythical Plane was created artificially by the dragons and is not completely connected to the rest of the Planes. Because of this the beings in the Mythical Planes are not tied to the Spiritual Plane and therefore their souls do not go to the afterlife. The Mythical Plane was created so that magical creatures that were being attacked by nonmagical beings could find a safer place to live. The mammals, or mortals now, would use dragons and other magical creatures for their magic and those creatures felt the need to rebel.
The creatures of the Mythical Plane all can use magic and many races are exceptionally better at it than others, such as the dragons. All these creatures live in much better harmony than when they were being controlled. But The Mythical suffers from a phenomenon the mortals theorized about, and a phenomenon known as the Infinite Ocean. The Infinite Ocean is when the world has a small amount of land but there is a seemingly endless amount of water around it. When the theory was created many mortals feared that they could be in a world with such a problem, but scientists found that there was far too much endless land for it to be a concern.
Mortals no longer believe they existed due to their disappearance occurring too early in history for them to find it believable. Some conspiracy theorists believe that those being weren’t simply nonsense from the minds of the mortals of history, but it’s prevalent to mock them.
Zyril: The Continent of the Mythical Plane:
Many kingdoms of different races of people cover the continent of Zyril. All kingdoms were named after the families who ruled them. The most powerful of them are; Lite, Asher, Odin, Glorion, Rysan, and Cloud Chaser. Each of them is ruled by a different race of dragon people. Different mythical races lived in each kingdom and lived peacefully.
All issues were solved in the courtroom rather than with violence. The powerful races of dragon people must not use their power for unreasonable violence. If one did so other dragon people had every right to defend themselves and those less powerful than them. The only exceptions were when they had no control over their body, which was not very common.
Each kingdom had a different terrain that reflected the magic they were able to manipulate. Though some are unexpected climates they still favor the races that choose to live in them. The most obvious one is the kingdom of Lite, ruled by a race of dragons that can manipulate the intensity of electromagnetic waves, that is in the coldest area of  Zyril.
